Euro 6 Engines
Cummins latest Euro 6 emissions engines meet the needs for medium truck, buses, coaches and speciality vehicles from 150 to 380 ps. They will use the proven U.S. EPA 2010 engine technologies of cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and variable geometry turbocharging (VGT). These have been tailored for European vehicle design and operations, providing excellent responsiveness with low NOx emission.
The 4-cylinder ISB4.5 engine is available up to 210 ps for truck and bus use. It has an excellent power to weight ratio and delivers a strong peak torque of 760 Nm.
The 6-cylinder 6.7 litre ISB engine extends up to 310 ps for truck and coach installations, and 280 ps for bus applications. Peak torque remains at a high level of 1100 Nm.
The 8.9 litre natural gas engine will be available for alternate fuel bus and truck applications from 250 to 320 ps with a peak torque of 1350 Nm.
