Euro 6 - is the next step governing exhaust emissions from commercial vehicles (truck, bus and van) legislated by the European Commission, which will become law during 2013/14. The first ‘Euro’ standard (Euro 1) was introduced 1993. Since then successive Euro limits have resulted in ever smaller amounts of emissions from diesel engines.
